Shangh Neighborhood Life Festival Revives Community Spirit

The Shangh Municipal Commission of Commerce has recently launched the 2024 Shangh Neighborhood Life Festival at Hong Shou Fang, an iconic structure from 1933 in Putuo district, East China. As part of this year's Shangh Shopping Festival, it features a series of themed activities - totaling 68 - both offline and online.

These events are designed around the core themes of affordable living, convenient services, family health, community gatherings, as well as cultural and recreational pursuits. The initiative enhance the city's '15-Minute Community Life Circle', offering residents within a short walk access to essential quality services for a vibrant urban lifestyle.

The opening ceremony saw Changshou Road neighborhood unveil its unique city walking route map covering a 9-kilometer stretch along Suzhou Creek. Highlighting historical sites, commercial assets, cultural icons, tourist attractions, and sports facilities, this initiative encourages exploration of the rich history and contemporary charm of Changshou area for locals and visitors alike.

The festival has also attracted several neighborhood service providers from diverse sectors such as Bright Food a century-old brand, Ele.me popular local service platform, Zhenru-Gaoling Market and Jiangnan Rice Making Bureau, catering to a young audience with flavored drinks.

During the ongoing event, participating markets, supermarkets, shopping centers, and online platforms will offer themed days including Neighborhood Grocery Day, Supermarket Special Day, Home Cleaning Day among others.
